The Outer Sunset dunes sit at the edge of our coast, and at the coast the sand and ocean feel like expanses at the edge of the world. We designed the edge collection to bring some of that expansiveness into the coziness of your home. Duality, etc. Here’s to all the edges in our lives that make us feel peacefully small. The Edge - Sun

 

Ah, the dunes in the sunshine. Warm sand and coast for days. We wanted the first colorway of our collection to capture the pure joy of sinking your feet into warm dunes on a sunny day. This sunbeam of color is a plant dye made from pressed marigold flowers (as close to grown sunshine as it gets). Best of all, because of the natural variation in plant dye, each quilt color is it’s own unique snapshot of sunshine, and will change and wear in over time. The natural is un-dyed and coming straight from the cotton plants to you.

The Edge - Fog

The dunes have some great sun moments but the magic is in the sun/fog duality. These north coast beaches in their moody element are the inspo for our second colorway of the collection. When the fog rolls in + you can’t see more than a few feet around you is when the sea foam whites are crispest against the sand. This colorway is an ode to that perfect sand and foam moment.  Some foghorn soundtracked magic. 

The white + natural are washed in soda ash from plants and softened with sand -- how fitting for a dūnzy! Here’s to nothing being cozier than a foggy day and your dūnzy.
